Chinggu, Joyce :)

It has been almost 2 decades since I have known this gal. Years of friendship is not enough to fully know this wonderful person that I am about to describe. Up to this time, this gal never fails to surprise all the people around her. It seems like she always carry it along with her that pouch of surprises and wyou'll never know when she'll scatter the magical dusts inside. A wonderful person inside and out, a doting daughter, a super loyal friend and a loving partner to her bf. Joyce Gutierrez Sabater. So unique and special in her own ways. . .

Joyce, Ecyoj, Chocolate (patawad bai. . . ) . . .These are the A.K.A. names of my best bud. I really enjoy the company of Joyce for we share a lot of common interests. To share a few. . We've always flicked our imaginary magic wands together since grade school and we were able and capable 'til now of talking about HP for how many hours, say "Annyeonhasaeyo" when we divulge ourselves in our other adopted citizenship (ㅋㅋㅋ), we hum the same university Hymn til High School for we graduated together in the same University and also we share anything and everything we could think of even our dirty little secrets.

I can say, that our friendship stood through a lot of tests in time.

Another aspect of her life that really made me admire this girl more is how she manages her time with her business and with her time with family and her lovelife and dont forget now she's back in her another love Moo Duk Kwan. Juys, as a daughter and aunt , is doing a very good job. One act of love she does every year is to treat and give her parents flowers, chocolates and other fancy stuff that I'm sure makes her Ma & Pa very happy. She also makes sure that Paw's birthday is well celebrated and fun- filled. That's how she is with her fam!

As a partner to her bf, Joyce is loving and very thoughtful. Like any other relationships, they may had problems and trials but in the end true love still overcomes in the end. Anniversaries and birthdays are never forgotten and are celebrated bonggaciously. Movie dates, buffet dinners, out-of-town trips, etc.. These are just some of the ways how they spend these occasions.

As a whole, this bright, gorgeous(inside and out), smart-wise and family and friend oriented gal is a needle in a haystack friend. A girl who inspires other people and makes you realize that one should always live life to the fullest. As they say life is short so do what you want and do it more often.

Children shame robber into fleeing

An armed robber who held up a babysitter was shamed into leaving empty-handed when two young children offered him their pocket money.

The man had rung the doorbell of a house in the German town of Schwanewede, near Bremen, and then forced his way in, reports The Local.

Armed with a gun and wearing a balaclava, the man had the terrified babysitter at gunpoint when the children she was looking after, came downstairs.

When they offered him their savings, he was apparently overcome with shame and left the house without a word - or a penny.

"The children had heard what was going on from upstairs and came down with their money, all their savings," a police spokesman said.

He said he was not releasing the ages of the children in order to protect them from being identified, but that they were both younger than seven.

"The robber must have realised what he was doing was awful, and simply put his gun away and left," added the spokesman.

Kitten survives washing machine spin

A kitten called Scampi had a lucky escape after he climbed into a washing machine moments before it was put on a spin cycle.

The inquisitive eight-week old ginger and white cat hopped into the washing machine when owner Frances Leate, 29, left the room to gather some washing.

Ms Leate, of Colchester, Essex placed more clothes into the drum and switched the load on for a 40-degree wash.

The mum-of-one was texting friends when she suddenly realised Scampi was not about and a "feeling in the pit of her stomach" told her what had happened.

She rushed into her kitchen to be confronted with the awful sight of the the washing machine filling with water before starting to spin.

Ms Leate switched the machine off but the water remained in the drum and the automatic lock initially prevented her from opening the door.

"I could see his little body squashed up against the glass. He was looking out at me and it was just awful - I could see that he was drowning and I was desperately trying to get the door open," she said.

With Scampi struggling to keep his head above water, she dashed outside and frantically asked neighbour Pam Morris to help.

The pair finally managed to open the door and pull the sodden and lifeless moggy from the machine.

Finding that her pet was still breathing, Ms Leate rushed Scampi to the vets where after an overnight stay he made a full recovery.

She was told the little kitten had a large amount of water on his lungs and was extremely lucky to be alive.
